positivity - YOUTH
Since 1991, Safe Schools South Florida has been at the forefront of advocacy, fighting for the rights of LGBTQ+ youth, educators, and parents in the South Florida community. As the only organization in South Florida comprised of education professionals dedicated to this cause, we are committed to creating safer schools and communities where all students can learn and thrive. They strive to empower LGBTQ+ youth through education, advocacy, and support with a focus on HIV/AIDS education, no-nonsense sex education, and creating inclusive environments that respect all identities. By addressing issues such as anti-bullying and mental health, they ensure the well-being and success of LGBTQ+ students.
respect - JUSTICE & EQUALITY
Equality Florida is the largest civil rights organization dedicated to securing full equality for Florida’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) community. They're changing Florida through lobbying, grassroots organizing, education, and coalition building — so that no one suffers harassment or discrimination on the basis of their sexual orientation or gender identity or expression.transgender people and everyone living with HIV through impact litigation, education and public policy work.
outstanding - HEALTH
Founded in 2008 to create a safe space for Latino gay guys and their partners to find friends, support and resources, Latinos Salud exist to provide client-centered, culturally competent health education and integrated preventive, screening, and linkage services throughout South Florida in order to reduce the burden of communicable diseases and improve health outcomes. Today, Latinos Salud operates four full-time locations to maximize its reach throughout South Florida, offering both appointment and walk-in service five days a week in Wilton Manors, North Miami, Miami Beach, and Westchester as well as mobile outreach and testing.

Lotus House is dedicated to improving the lives of women, youth and children experiencing homelessness. We provide sanctuary, support, education, tools and resources that empower them to heal, learn, grow and blossom into who they are truly meant to be. Through Rainbow Lotus, accommodations and holistic services are designed to afford homeless LGBTQIA+ adults and youth a safe, supportive and nurturing environment. Homeless LGBTQIA+ individuals of all ages need trauma informed shelter and support services sensitive to their special needs.
divergent - ARTS, CULTURE, & EDUCATION
UNITY COALITION | COALICIÓN UNIDA (UC|CU) is an organization for the Latinx|Hispanic & Indigenous LGBTQ community, advancing Equality & Fairness, through Education, Leadership and Awareness, since 2002, with programming in Miami & Bogotá. Featuring ARTLab@GALVIN CENTER with local, national, and international Transgender, Gender Non-Conforming & other LGBQ+ artists and their works, and the Miami Gay Chorus | UCARTS COALITION, a collective of Music, Theater, Dance and other art forms, to create innovative collaborations with LGBTQI+ focused talent.

positivity - YOUTH
YES Institute began as a personal project in 1995 known then as Project YES. The co-founders met with local South Florida community leaders and educators to understand what could be done to keep gay and lesbian youth from wanting to kill or harm themselves. Their vision is a community in which all youth develop as healthy individuals free of suicide, violence and discrimination. Their mission is to prevent suicide and ensure the healthy development of all youth through powerful communication and education on gender and orientation.
respect - JUSTICE & EQUALITY
Founded in 1973, Lambda Legal is the oldest and largest national legal organization whose mission is to achieve full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and everyone living with HIV through impact litigation, education and public policy work.
As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we do not charge our clients for legal representation or advocacy, and we receive no government funding. We depend on contributions from supporters around the country.

The mission of Broward House is to improve the quality of life for individuals impacted with chronic health challenges, including HIV, by providing pathways to wellness. We welcome people of all backgrounds, genders, races and sexual orientations. We serve individuals with no income and no insurance as well as individuals who are fully insured and have income. Our goals are simple: to support the health and stability of each individual who walks through our door with a plan unique to their goals.

ArtsUnited mission is to use the arts to present a positive message about the LGBTQ community and provide opportunities for artists to contribute fully and openly to the cultural, social, and economic success of South Florida. We produce programs and events that feature our member artists and promote the development of culturally diverse arts. We collaborate with other organizations in South Florida to maximize the cultural opportunities for our members and offerings for the general public.
